A Handmade Wreath

My daughter made this wreath for us.  It now hangs on our front door.  She made two, one a very formal clean design, and this one, a more asymmetrical and loose design.  It was hard to choose which I wanted (she let me pick), because I like them both.  The acorns were all gathered from her yard, where there are a number of very tall oak trees.

Five days until Christmas.  I'm really looking forward to spending time with my family.
