A customer sent me a photo this week of dresses she made using Woodlands Squirrel and Hedgehog fabrics purchased from my shop.
With her permission, I share this shot of her adorable girls in their new dresses. Aren't they sweet.... and the dresses look great!
It is so much fun to see the wonderful creations people make with the fabrics they buy.

Emma Thomas-McGinnis, artist & quilter, made this lovely wall hanging for a Project Quilting challenge this week. The challenge was to use only one color plus white in a project.
Emma used batiks from my shop to frame the beautiful shamrock embroidery she hand stitched on this piece. You can read more about this project on her blog.

Here are a couple of fun projects from a wonderful customer who lives in Germany. The first is a carseat shade that doubles as a nursing cover. She paired cotton from Kathy Davis Happiness Collection, with some fabric that she had on hand to make this versatile piece for a baby.
The second project is a ruffled scarf that she made from a Hoffman batik she purchased from my shop.
I am always amazed at the clever ideas my customers come up with.
Thanks so much for sharing them!

I Appreciate U
Those of you who have purchased from my fabric shop may be familiar with the I Appreciate You program that rewarded dollars spent with a gift certificate to my shop.
Due to changes in Etsy (like shop names, inability to print
individual customer histories, and plan for multiple shops
to be listed under one account) I have had to discontinue this program for now. I am truly sorry about this because I
enjoy rewarding my faithful customers in this manner. It was just
getting too difficult to keep track of points.
However, I will still be sending out occasional emails with coupons (so sign up for my email list if you haven't already), and have instituted a new reward program. Send me a photo of a project that you have made using fabrics from my shop, and if I feature your work on this blog, I will send you a coupon code for 15% off. This coupon can also be used in combination with any sales going on at the time of purchase.
Happy Sewing ♥

Recently I discovered a new favorite blog - Ahhh, Quilting through the Selvage Blog. After a few emails back and forth with Cynthia, the writer of the blog, I found that she had made a quilt using fabrics purchased from my shop months ago. Of course I asked if she would allow me to feature her work on my blog, and she said yes!
I absolutely love her designs! She calls this one the "Wipey" Quilt because her inspiration was a diaper wipes box. Be sure to check out her blog for more unique and wonderful quilts, plus a really fun blog to read.
