My Mom arrived this week for a one month visit. I am thankful to be able to spend time with her. So far we've done a lot of Christmas shopping together (I'm thankful to be getting that done as well).
She is a morning person like me, so we get up early and get a head start on the day. The older I get, the more I realize what an influence she has had on making me who I am.
This picture of her on a camel in Egypt from a few years ago is one of my favorites. It captures her adventurous spirit well.
