W.I.P.

My daughter and I worked on this quilt a bit, adding the name "Joshua," and finishing the back.  It is ready to sandwich and quilt.  I am still up in the air about how to quilt it.  Since it has a pieced back as well as front, an all-over quilt design seems best, but which one?  I will have to check out Leah Day's Free Motion Quilt Along to see if any of the recent designs will work for this quilt.

I also made a couple of blocks which will eventually be a low contrast wall hanging for behind the couch in our family room.

These blocks are made with Hoffman batiks, plus a Cross Weave solid in the corners of the blue block.

This will be block #9 in my Block of the Month series, so you are getting a sneak preview.  I couldn't wait to work with some of the new Bali Crackers 10" squares which arrived recently, and I've been wanting to incorporate some of the Cross Weave cottons in a quilt block too.

Lastly, I have been working on a tutorial for my stockings pattern.

So that's what has been keeping me busy in my sewing room this week.
What have you been working on?

I've linked up with Freshly Pieced, Fabric TuesdayWe Did It Wednesday, and Adorned from Above Blogs.  Be sure to check them out to see other works in progress, and link up your projects

Happy Sewing ♥
