Thankful Sunday

Our church had its annual Harvest Hoedown yesterday. My whole family was there, which is unusual now that my children have grown and moved away. My youngest granddaughter and I had fun square dancing (it was her first time). There was a tug-of-war, apple dunking, pumpkin tossing, wood splitting, and of course lots of chili and apple pie.

After the meal, we had a night of praise music and singing. It was altogether a lovely time.

What are you thankful for today?

  1. Sounds wonderful. I'm thankful for family too. Yesterday we had a big family reunion (DH's side) at our house, Thanksgiving dinner style.

I enjoy a big storm now and then too. Good quilting weather. :)
