Our church had its annual Harvest Hoedown yesterday. My whole family was there, which is unusual now that my children have grown and moved away. My youngest granddaughter and I had fun square dancing (it was her first time). There was a tug-of-war, apple dunking, pumpkin tossing, wood splitting, and of course lots of chili and apple pie.
After the meal, we had a night of praise music and singing. It was altogether a lovely time.
What are you thankful for today?
Sounds wonderful. I'm thankful for family too. Yesterday we had a big family reunion (DH's side) at our house, Thanksgiving dinner style.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy a big storm now and then too. Good quilting weather. :)
