It has been another whirlwind week. Can you believe we are halfway through September?
I did manage to get some sewing in. Here is a pile of quilted stocking tops all cut out and ready for piecing together with cuffs and linings.
The charm squares and hexagon paper pieces are available in my shop |
And a new W.I.P. - I like to keep my hands busy while sitting and watching T.V. with my husband. When some paper piecing hexagons arrived at my door yesterday, I knew they would be perfect for my next handwork project. It turned out that the 2" size were just right to fit with the largest hexagon die on my accuquilt, so I quickly cut out a pack of Blitzen charm squares and went to work.
This is a new technique for me, and so far I am enjoying it thoroughly.
