Thankful Sunday

I am thankful for apple picking.

We found a new orchard to visit yesterday.  We could drive our car right into the orchard along a rutted road.  There was a good variety of apples to pick - Macintosh, Jonamac, Greening, Macoun, and others I don't remember.

Ladders were abundant, and there weren't many apples on the ground (which I appreciated)

Afterwards we visited the little store which carried cider, fresh doughnuts, candy, and honey, with no waiting in line!

It was the best apple picking experience we've had in years.

What are you thankful for today?

  1. This sounds like a lovely day! Well done. I am thankful for the most delicious cup of coffee my sweet husband just handed me. The slow start to a quiet Sunday is one of my favorite times of the week.

  2. I used to do this when I was a kid - I'm thankful for those memories! ;)
