Thankful Sunday

Today, I am thankful for trees.  I love all the seasons of them, from their bare bones in winter to their early spring green (and sometimes flowers), to their lush summertime foliage, and to their autumn display of color.  Besides their beauty, it is so wonderful that they provide oxygen to the earth, and shade, and a home for birds and squirrels.

Here are some I found on Etsy

Red Blossoms Tree painting by JolinaAnthony
Green Trees Abstract by SylviaCPhotography
Autumn Trees Quilted Wall Hanging by SallyManke
Winter Tree Watercolor from K9ArtGallery

What are you thankful for today?

  1. Trees are wonderful! I love to be in the woods among them. I think there is no better place in fact.

  2. What a happy Sunday thought! So looking forward to these bare trees bud out with spring. On another tree note, the local maple syrup guy tapped our trees here in northern Michigan this week!

Thanks so much for including my autumn trees art quilt in this post!

  3. Since I'm in an apartment by myself for the month while I'm working at this mission I too have been grateful for trees. There's a beautiful large oak tree out my window that I get to see from my living room. Today is gray and cloudy and the wind is whipping the branches in a lively dance. blessings, marlene

  7. Great tree finds! I love trees too. I have a folder where I'm stashing cool tree trunks. I actually found one that looks like a big bear from a distance. It's at the Indiana Dunes State Park. They are useful and beautiful! Great post!!!

  8. Trees are definitely beautiful, no matter the season. There's nothing more serene than walking through the hushed woods.
    Lovely Etsy trees!
