12 Months

Welcome to the January linky party for the 12 Month Challenge.   The first order of business is to do a follow-up featuring some of the creative people who linked up in January.

It is always a pleasure to see one of Jan Beane's wonderful dolls joining the Linky party. Jan was part of the 52 week challenge in 2011, and has continued this year. She is what I consider to be a prolific doll maker. She is always coming up with delightful new members of her doll family. This is in addition to running a farm with her husband, raising goats, putting up a garden, and enjoying her family.
Jan has a fun blog to read - Life Lessons, that covers some of this busyness. I see that she has reorganized her craft room this month. Doesn't it look inviting!

You can check out her Etsy shop here.

Anshu from the Blooms and Bugs Blog, is a Wife, Mom, and Seamstress. Originally from India, and now living in California, she loves sewing and sharing what she learns in tutorials and patterns.  She especially likes designing children's wear.  The patterns for the children's styles pictured are all available on her blog.

These are just two of the crafty people who linked up in January.  I will continue to feature a few each month.

As for me, I  have sewn some new blocks for the Block of the Month project, made a pillow, tote bag, and table runner from the blocks, continued taking skywatch photos daily (although I am way behind in posting them to the blog), started an advertising campaign on the Totally Tutorials blog, and run a Free Fabric for Tutorials Exchange.

What have you been working on?  Feel free to link up a project that you have finished this month, or several if you like.  I am looking forward to seeing what you have been working on.  You have from now until March 27th to post your links.

  1. I've been working on revamping my studio. The longer I'm in business, the more storage I need! I'm also preparing things for taxes. Boo...

  2. Hi Kym! I thought my month in photographs is a great way of showing everyone what I've been working on. Usually I have some "non-crafting" pics, but not this month!

  3. Kym, I'm glad you mentioned your 12-month challenge on our team thread...I did not realize you are doing this, and this is an ideal way for all of us to link up!

  4. you only have a few things going! LOL :)

In February, I did 2 Project QUILTING challenges, vended at the craftacular, made lots of fun jewelry, worked on 4 different BOM's and celebrate my middle daughter's 4th birthday! (off the top of my head...anyway)

  5. These posts are fun...I love seeing what everyone created all in one post :)
I had a hard time deciding what to share! I limited myself to three...LOL! One item from each type of medium I work with :)

  6. Hmmm. I will have to go check out what I can share! This is a nice selection and I agree with Edi that it is fun to see what others are up to.

    Artful Rising

  7. Lovely linky idea!
