Treasury Tuesday

In addition to showing a few of the lovely treasuries my shops have been included in recently, I have decided to feature the curators of the treasuries as well. I hope you reading a little about them and seeing items from their shops.

Connie from AsteropBC is an engineer by day and a beader by night. She loves astronomy. In fact, her shop name Asterope is the name of one of the Pleiades. To the naked eye, it looks like one star, but a telescope or binoculars reveals that Asterope is actually two stars. Here is a beautiful beaded necklace from her shop.

Andrea Vida, from her shop by the same name, lives in Budapest Hungary with her husband and two children. Sewing is a family tradition, which Andrea has carried on with her marvelous dolls and toys. The whimsical chameleon pictured below is available in her shop.

Rose from SewEcological is a full time teacher who spends any free time she has on crafting. She makes one of a kind creations with repurposed fabric found in sweaters, vintage clothing, vintage linens, and any other textiles she can get her hands on. The lovely lime cotton cowl pictured below is available in her shop.

Janneke Hoekstra from Blushing Mermaid lives in the Netherlands. Her unique jewelry designs inspirated by nature, art, music and literature. She also makes quilts like the one pictured below. You can find this one in her BlueHeronQuilts shop.

Last, but not least, Victoria Vallieres from Moon Dance Textiles brings aspects of herself into her work with her love of color and texture, her habits of thriftiness and recycling, and her belief that rules are meant to be broken. The rustic Table Topper or Wall quilt below is an example of her work.
All of the items in these treasuries are clickable links, so shop away!

You can see many more wonderful treasuries on my treasury trove page.
