52 Week Challenge - Week 14

This week I raided my UFO bin (a huge plastic lidded container) and pulled out a quilted bag I had started over a year ago.  The quilting was all done.  I just had to put it together with beading, a header, lining, and drawstring closure.

The fabric is by Kaffe Fassett (love his work) and is called Millifiore.  My granddaughter helped me decide on the beading.  It adds a nice bling, don't you think.

    Those are great colors!

    Unfortunately, I haven't been up to anything creative this week since I'm on a business trip, but I plan to work some more on the vintage dress I'm tailoring when I get home. :-)

    Your bag is gorgeous, Kym, and the beading your granddaughter helped you select adds the perfect touch. I have multiple tubs like the one you mentioned...probably years worth of UFOs. Scary, huh?!

    Lovely bag! UFOs I have lots still finding more too. Hope to get more finished to show this month. Still trying to catch up! lol
