Remember the selvage strips from a few weeks ago?  Well, I decided to make a pillow top with them.

I like the definition that piping adds to the edges

One work in progress finished (yay!) this week.

Here is a picture of my granddaughter's play porch with her new tie dyed curtains installed (from last week's post).

This week was also about pillowcase dresses.  My daughter, daughter-in-law, and myself made this one out of organic cotton from Modern Whimsy by Laurie Wisbrun.  My granddaughter chose a peach batik from Timeless Treasures for the tie.  It made for a cute and comfortable dress.

Another pillowcase dress is in the works, but more about that next week.

The best part - this dress took under an hour to make

  The Christmas stockings are coming along steadily, but no progress on the I Spy quilt this week.
