Weekend Project

Our project this weekend is getting the downstairs cleared out in preparation for a room renovation next month.  We've rented a portable storage unit, and enlisted the help of family and a few friends to help.

I am very excited about this project.  Since we purchased our home almost ten years ago, we have wanted to make the downstairs a family room.  My crafting supplies will be there, and computer space, as well as a comfortable place to watch TV.  The plan includes a half bathroom too, which will be very handy to have for guests trekking in from the pool.

A sub platter has been ordered for dinner, which will allow me to help work rather than spend time preparing a meal.
