Treasury Tuesday

Welcome to another Treasury Tuesday. Meet some interesting shop owners, and explore the treasures pictured by clicking on any item.

Yoko of JooniJewelry has a passion for making casual and elegant jewelry that is simple, unique, and fun to wear. The garnet gold ladder bracelet at left is one example of her work. You can find many earrings, necklaces and other bracelets in her shop.

She designed the "Tuesday Inspiration" treasury below:

Next is Carol Bender of BarnShopAntiques. Carol and her husband are converting their home into a Bed and Breakfast in order to share their beautiful surroundings with others. In the meantime, they have decided to sell some of their vintage finds like the bottles shown.

"Silver and Gold" is the treasury Carol made.

There are some lovely purples in the "Purple is not just for Amethyst" treasury by Donna of StoneSavvyJewelry.

Donna says that pretty little stones are scattered everywhere in her life - on the kitchen windowsill, her coat pockets, strewn along the garden path, on book shelves, even in her coin purse. They find their way into her pockets and then into her heart.  Eventually, many of them end up in jewelry that she makes, like these wonderful wormhole paua earrings.

I had to include this sewing treasury by Terry Aske of TerryAskeArtQuilts in this week's feature because National Sewing Machine Day is June 13th. What a wonderful collection of sewing tools.

Terry is a perfectionist by nature, and it shows in her quilts, which are the perfect outlet for her creativity. In the last 14 years, she has completed more than 100 art quilts, which she sells and exhibits in the US and Canada and on the Internet. The bargello style quilt at left is an example of her work.

Thank you ladies for including me in your treasuries.
