Can you believe a New York weekend in January with temperatures in the 40's?
Not that I mind snow, but this (mostly) mild winter we've been having is pretty easy to take....
and easy on our heating bill too!
I am also thankful that the darkest, shortest days of winter are over, and we now have daylight for almost 9 hours a day.
What are you thankful for today?
I'm with you Kim, longer days...yippee. Our Maine winter , so far, has been mild. This is a gift. Lowers heating bills and helps with good mental health (being able to get outside regularly).
ReplyDeleteGod is good.
It's been beautiful here in Iowa too!!! I'm loving this "new winter" :)
ReplyDeleteWe've also had a mild weekend here in DC. Very thankful for that, and for the longer days too! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for warm, comfortable, sloppy looking sweats on these cold days. :) blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteWe've not even gotten snow yet. That's never happened in my whole life! They forecast some for tonight. We shall see.
ReplyDeleteWe have snow now, but we too enjoyed a good long spout of "fall" type weather..I loved it! Oh and today I am thankful for finding your blog :)
