Do you find yourself with more good ideas than time or energy to implement them?
A wise man taught me that it is not the idea, but the courage of your conviction, that takes the idea from possibility to a concrete reality. We all have good ideas, but how many of them do we actually carry out?
Thomas Edison spoke of this dilemna often. He said, "Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up." He is also often quoted as saying, "Genius is one percent inspiration, ninety-nine percent perspiration."
Today, I am thankful for ideas, and I pray for the conviction to carry them out.
