As I referenced in my Monday W.I.P. post, this week's project has been to make up a pattern and kit for a placemat set. The kit includes everything (except thread) to make a set of four.
Kits and patterns have been a long standing idea in my head, but it has been a bit of a struggle to get this first one implemented. I have lots more designs in mind, so hopefully the next one will be easier.

Curved piecing is still so scary to me. Someday I will have to give in and try it.

ReplyDeleteGood luck with your kits! I just recently decided to start creating patterns myself. I used to sell them to books and magazines but never myself so this will be something different. Plus, back in the day I did that, I used a typewriter!
