At the Sea - Side
by Robert Louis Stevenson
When I was down beside the sea
A wooden spade they gave to me
To dig the sandy shore.
My holes were empty like a cup.
In every hole the sea came up,
Till it could come no more.

To dig the sandy shore.
My holes were empty like a cup.
In every hole the sea came up,
Till it could come no more.
Today I am thankful for water - drinking water, swimming water, cooling off wading pool water, bathtime water, sprinkler water, rainwater, and ocean water.
What are you thankful for today?
Tonight I'm thankful for the Vespers service I just attended...a young mentally challenged man worshiped with such abandon that I could almost see God smiling. blessings, marlene
