This is my favorite holiday because the expectation is to, first of all, be thankful. Then anything else that happens, like getting together with family, or eating some yummy food, is an extra blessing.
Of course we all have lots to be thankful for everyday. How about oxygen, sunshine, life itself!
Still, I am thankful that our country sets aside a day to celebrate being Thankful.
